Dates for the Summer

Classes will be held through August at Jubilee House each Thursday evening from 7.15pm – 8.45pm.  The course is open to anyone interested in maintaining their yoga practice through the long break and not just existing students of mine.  With a slightly shorter time the emphasis will be on the physical aspects of yoga rather than the talks on philosophy etc.  Fees are £6 per week (dates are bookable) or £24 for the five weeks course.  Occasional unbooked visitors are welcome as long as there are places but a limit of 20 students will apply.

Autumn Classes

These will start on Thursday 19 September at both Wellington and Madeley. There will be no class on Thursday 24 October.  Term ends on 12 December.  Class times are 10am – 11.45am at Wellington and 7.15pm- 9.00pm at Madeley. 

For anyone not knowing the rooms they are both very pleasant, clean and warm venues with good car parking.

Fees for the 12 week term are £67.20.  At the Madeley class concessions are available for anyone on supplementary benefits.  Weekly payment is also available at £7 per week subject to space.  In view of increasing numbers I am asking anyone who wishes to book a place on a weekly basis to telephone me in advance to confirm their space reservation – this can be up to one week in advance.

Satsang

These occasional meetings at my yoga room in Broseley give anyone interested in the philosophical/ spiritual aspects of Vedanta and yoga the opportunity to meet for discussion.  There is no charge but donations which will be given to charity are welcome and are placed anonymously in the shrine bowl.  Satsang involves a short puja (ritual), discussion and meditation.  Starting time is 7.30pm and ending about 8.30pm.  Provisional dates for the coming months are Wed 26 June, Fri 5 July and Mon 19 August.  Please call to confirm your attendance.

If you would like to visit on an individual basis to discuss topics of concern, or just to sit quietly in the yoga room for a while please contact me.

Open Gardens of Broseley

Rectory Garden House along with a few others will be open on Sunday 30 June from 2.00 – 5.00pm.  Teas at the Lady Forester Day Care Centre opposite the Co-op shop and filling station.  .

W.I. Talk

I shall be talking to the Coalbrookdale WI on Wednesday 10 July at 3pm on `The Importance of Yoga in My Life`.  I am sure they would welcome more visitors if you are interested. 

Garden Open for the Severn Hospice Support Group.

Sunday afternoon 18 August.  A chance to wander in the garden, see the yoga room, buy a plant and other things and have tea.  Parking in the Church car park
